Conversation with speaker labels

Automated message: Thank you for calling Cedarline Broadband. This call may be monitored or recorded for quality and training. Please hold for the next available member of our customer loyalty team. Agent: Thanks for calling Cedarline, this is Marcus on the loyalty team. Who am I speaking with today? Customer: Hi Marcus, it's Dana Whitaker. Agent: Hi Dana. Before I pull anything up, can you confirm the service address and the four-digit account PIN for me? Customer: Sure. It's 418 Alder Court, unit 2, and the PIN is 7702. Agent: Thank you, you're verified. I have your account up here, internet only, on the 500 meg plan. What can I help you with today? Customer: I want to cancel my internet service. My promotional rate ended last month and the bill went from fifty-four ninety-nine to eighty-nine ninety-nine. That's more than we can justify for what we use, so I'd like to close the account. Agent: I'm sorry about that jump, I know it's a shock when a promo rolls off. I can see you've been with us almost three years, and I'd really like to keep you. I also see a ticket from last week about slow speeds in the evenings. Is that part of it? Customer: Not really. The speed thing is annoying, but that's not why I'm leaving. It's the price. If the bill had stayed where it was I wouldn't be calling. Agent: Got it, thanks for telling me. And just so I have it right, you are the primary account holder? I see a second name on the account as an authorized user. Customer: Yes, it's in my name. That's my partner, but I handle the bills. Agent: Perfect. Let me take a look at what I can do on my side. Bear with me one second while the offers load. Customer: Okay. Agent: So here's what I can do. I can move you to our loyalty rate on the same 500 meg plan, fifty-nine ninety-nine a month for the next twelve months with autopay. That's thirty dollars a month less than you're paying now, same speeds, nothing changes on your end. Customer: I appreciate that, but no thanks. I'd rather just cancel. I don't want to be back here in a year having the same conversation. Agent: Totally fair. What if we went down to the 100 meg plan? That's thirty-nine ninety-nine, and honestly for a two-person household that's plenty. I can also put the first two months at no charge, so you wouldn't pay anything until March. Customer: No, thank you. I really just want to cancel. Agent: Understood. Can I ask where you're headed? Because if it's one of the fixed wireless companies, I see a lot of people come back within a month, the speeds just aren't there on your street. I'd hate for you to leave after three years and then have to start over. Customer: Marcus, I've said no twice now. Honestly, this is frustrating. I called to cancel, not to sit through a sales pitch. Agent: I'm sorry you feel that way. Okay. Let's get it taken care of. Customer: Thank you. Agent: Before I process it, I see you also have a technician visit booked for Thursday between eight and noon, for the slow speeds you reported last week. Do you want me to cancel that appointment as well? Customer: Yes, please cancel the appointment. There's no point in someone coming out now. Agent: Done, the Thursday visit is cancelled. Now for the service itself. I can end it today, or at the end of your billing cycle on the fourteenth, so you keep internet until then. Which would you prefer? Customer: Let's do the fourteenth. I need it for work until we sort out something else. Agent: No problem. So your service will end at 11:59 pm on the fourteenth. You're month to month, so there's no early termination fee. You'll get one final bill for the first through the fourteenth, prorated, which comes to about forty-two dollars. That's charged to the card on autopay about a week after the service ends. Customer: Can the final bill go on a different card? The one on autopay expires next month. Agent: Sure. When the final bill posts you'll get a text with a link to pay it, and you can use any card there. If you don't use the link, it goes to the autopay card, so if that one has expired by then, the link is the way to go. Customer: Okay, I'll use the link. What about the router? Agent: You have one gateway from us. You can drop it at any Cedarline store, or we can email you a prepaid return label, whichever's easier. It needs to be back within thirty days of the end date. If it isn't returned, there's a one hundred twenty dollar unreturned equipment fee. Customer: A label is easier. Please email it. Do I need to send the power cord too? Agent: Just the gateway and its power cord, yes. Don't worry about the ethernet cable, you can keep that. Once the box is scanned at the carrier, you'll get an email saying it's been received, so keep that email in case there's ever a question about it. Customer: Okay, good. Agent: I'll send it to the email on file, the one starting d dot whitaker. Is that still good? Customer: That's right. Agent: Great. One more thing: your Cedarline email address stays active for ninety days after the end date and is then deleted, so move anything you want to keep before then. Customer: We don't use it, that's fine. Agent: Okay. So to confirm. Internet service at 418 Alder Court ends at 11:59 pm on the fourteenth. No early termination fee. A final prorated bill of about forty-two dollars on your card on file. The return label for the gateway goes to your email today, and the gateway needs to be back within thirty days. Your cancellation confirmation number is C X 4 4 8 1 2 0, and you will get the same details by email within the hour. Customer: Got it. C X 4 4 8 1 2 0. Agent: That's right. And if you change your mind before the fourteenth, just call us and we can keep the service on without a new install. Customer: I won't, but thanks. Agent: Is there anything else I can help you with today? Customer: No, that's everything. Agent: Alright, Dana. Thanks for being a Cedarline customer, and have a good rest of your day. Customer: You too. Bye.

[09:14] Customer: Hi, my rent standing order didn't go out on the 1st. It's been set up for two years and nothing has changed. My landlord has now charged me a £30 late fee. [09:15] Agent (Ellie): Hi, thanks for getting in touch, and I'm sorry to hear that. Can I take your full name and the last four digits of your card so I can find the account? [09:15] Customer: Sam Taylor, 4417 [09:17] Agent (Ellie): Thanks Sam. I can see the standing order to R Hughes Lettings for £725 was due on 1 September. It didn't go out because of a problem on our side with standing orders due that weekend. The money was in your account. [09:18] Customer: So it's your mistake. I only found out when the letting agent rang me. That's the second time this year I've had to chase a payment with you. [09:19] Agent (Ellie): I understand, and I'm sorry. I've sent the £725 now as a faster payment, so it should reach R Hughes Lettings within two hours. Your standing order is still set up for 1 October. [09:20] Customer: And the £30? Who pays that? [09:21] Agent (Ellie): As the payment failed because of our error, I've credited £30 to your account to cover the late fee. You'll see it today. [09:22] Customer: ok fine. thanks. just sort your system out please, I shouldn't have to check every month [09:22] Agent (Ellie): Understood. Is there anything else I can help with today? [09:23] Customer: no that's all [09:23] Agent (Ellie): Thanks for chatting with us, Sam. Have a good day.

Repair report

Location: Bedroom 2 (my daughter's room) What's the problem: The wall behind my daughter's cot has gone black again. Someone came out in March and painted over it and said that would sort it, but it's come back worse and it's spreading up towards the ceiling. There's a musty smell in the room all the time now, and when I got her clothes out of the wardrobe this morning they had mould on them, so I've had to wash everything. She's 7 months old. The window in there also won't shut properly since the handle broke, so it's freezing at night and I have to keep the heating on full. I rang in April about the window and was told someone would call me back, and nobody ever did. I'm really fed up with being ignored.

I've attached them again in case they got lost. We have had no working kitchen for 19 days. My mother is 82 and lives with us, and she can't manage the stairs to use the microwave we've set up in the spare room, so we are eating takeaways every night, which we can't afford. Your assessor said the drying equipment would be collected last Tuesday and it is still here running up our electricity. I expect you to cover that on top of the claim. Please can someone just tell me when the kitchen fitter is booked. If I don't hear by Friday I am going to the ombudsman. Sarah Kemp 07700 900418

You can't paste your own text here. Real text goes in once we have agreed how it is handled.

Test it on your own data.

  1. Export a sample your team has already labelled.
  2. Run it in the app as a CSV, TSV or JSON file of up to 10,000 rows, and get the answered file back.
  3. Add your team's answers as columns, and the app reports how often Prismlet agreed, question by question and at each cutoff, split by a column such as language, with every miss listed. Your team's answers stay in your browser.
Talk to us about a test on your data
a sample file of 12 labelled calls, run in the app

A 39-second silent recording of the app. A CSV of 12 save-desk calls with the team's answers is dropped into Run a whole file. The reference, context and language columns are chosen, and the 12 rows are answered. The view then zooms in on the evaluation report, which shows agreement for each question at every cutoff, the figures split by English and Spanish, and the one miss with how sure the answer was.

What happens to your text.

True today

  • Every answer is one of your options, never free text. A Choice answer can also be Other or Not enough information.
  • Every result is stored with the fields you sent, every probability and the exact prism version it ran on.
  • Changing a cutoff relabels stored results without sending the text to the model again.
  • Every query is scoped to your account, and a test checks that one account cannot read another's data.
  • API keys are stored hashed. People sign in with a one-time link, not a password.

The security page

Questions, answered.

from a fixed list of options, naturally
Can it make up an answer?

No. Every answer is one of the options the question allows, never free text. A Choice question also allows Other, when none of your options fit, and Not enough information, when the text doesn't say enough. A Scale question always picks one of your levels. It can still pick the wrong option, which is why every answer says how sure it is.

Is a percentage how often it is right?

No. It is how sure Prismlet is on this text. How often it is right on your text is something you measure: run a file with your team's answers as columns, and the app reports how often Prismlet agreed.

What can I send?

Any text: call transcripts, letters, messages, time entries, notes. Send one text per request from your own system, with up to about 100,000 characters across its fields, or run a CSV, TSV or JSON file of up to 10,000 rows from the app. A prism holds up to 100 questions.

Which languages?

The library examples are in English. We have not measured accuracy per language, so measure yours: run a file with your team's answers and split the result by a language column.

Who decides what happens?

A person, or your own rules. Prismlet answers your questions and says how sure it is; it does not act on a person, an account or a record.

Do I need a developer?

Not to start. Write your questions and try them in the app. A developer connects your tools once you're happy with the answers.
